Is Ryan Timmons UK's best WR/2nd Offensive Threat behind Braylen Heard?

Featured Replies

Thoughts on this young, very talented kid from Franklin County? I read an article saying he is in the same classification as: Randall Cobb, Craig Yeast, Steven Johnson, Keenan Burton, James Whalen. Who all went to the NFL?

Thoughts? If Towles can get Timmons to touch the ball anywhere from 10-15 times a game, I see the offense being powerful behind Blue, Robinson & Heard/Kemp/Williams.

I see a:

Ryan Timmons

Demarco Robinson

Javess (sp) Blue

///////

Jo Jo Kemp

Braylen Heard

Boom Williams

high-powered offense.

But my main question is what are some of my BGP's opiniono n this kid? Saturday I think we will find out what he's made of being only a sophomore, and leading the SEC already?:ylsuper::ylsuper:

To me, Timmons is the most exciting player on the roster in Lexington. He can score in multiple ways from multiple positions.

Great threat with the ball in his hands, "playmaker". I also see Blake Bone as someone who has a big future.

I agree Bone looks to be a real good one.

I love my 6'5 receiver on your 5'9 corner in goal line. They went after it once but should have done it more.

I love Timmons, but if he is UK's best WR they are in trouble

They need someone more explosive if you ask me.

Timmons is plenty explosive without a doubt but the Cats need Blue to give coverages a real fit. Blue is 1A and Timmons is 1B. Need em both. If Timmons isn't explosive for the Cats IDK who is.

I think you know what I mean. For the SEC they definitely need someone like Timmons or even more explosive to be pretty successful in that conference.

To be successful in the SEC, you need 3 or 4 guys like Timmons.

Agreed, Towles seems to love Timmons. This kid came in as a freshmen and was putting up numbers. They mentioned him in the same area as Randall Cobb, Craig Yeast, Steven Johnson. I love watching this kid play from start to finish, he can make opponets miss at all times. I beleive they will see in him in the endzone a lot for the next 3 years.

I would LOVE to see him on Punt Return and or Kick Off.

Tonight answered the question about Timmons. Resounding No. Johnson is by far the best WR and better hands. Timmons may have just cost UK a win vs Florida

Wasn't just him but that is what everyone will remember that's for sure.
