If you are not on campus, stay away. Follow instructions from university officials or local authorities."

September 11, 201412 yr According to the alert, the man is reported to be white, 5-foot-10, with a shaved head. He is said to be carrying a camouflage backpack and what appears to be a weapon. It's just Spindoc making a housecall. :dancingpa

September 11, 201412 yr Was it a real umbrella or a toy one? If it didn't have an orange tip on it, that could have been dangerous.
September 11, 201412 yr We can laugh with relief now but I got a sick feeling in my stomach. The semester after the Virginia Tech shootings my daughter was in her first couple months at IU and there was a shooting right off campus that was reported to be on campus at first. She called me to see if I knew anything going on as they had received an alert to stay put. I never want that feeling again.
