Often times parents retain lawyers to fight school system decisions and it has nothing to do with any criminal actions. Just admit it, you stuck your foot in your mouth.

A parent that feels that their child has been dismissed from a team unfairly (or receives any disciplinary action that they don't agree with) may hire a lawyer to represent their interests.
September 12, 201412 yr Kids will be kids, they will do stupid stuff, it doesn't matter if it is Mayfield or Pikeville or anywhere in between. I would be willing to bet that half the teams across the state lose a player due to some discrepancy throughout the season.

I venture to say not anywhere close to half the programs around the state suspend players in a season, not even close. I'm thinking single digits on the average.

September 19, 201411 yr :lol2: I would say not many people are looking on this thread because it isn't on the hs football page. That would probably explain some of the silence. I don't know how many people know the ins and outs of this issue. As somebody said in an earlier post, there is some questionable stuff that goes along with this story. I do know that there was no "hot shot" lawyer hired by the family, and the school board met on Monday night for their normal meeting. This issue was one of the topics on the agenda, and they decided he should return to school. So, according to my sources he is back for this week. That's not saying he will be playing without any kind of disciplinary action...................we will just have to see. This is not quiet as big of a deal as some of you might think it is..............and it's not my place to give out any details of the situation.
