Highlands looks vulnerable. Cov Cath is pretty good. SK may be better than we thought. Ryle and Conner are further away than we thought. Too early to tell for New Cath, Beechwood and Campbell. Cooper on the uptick.

As far as I know..

I think it has hinted to what was already known. Specifically that a new coach would be very different adjustment to an established program used to a Dale Mueller, that this team would not come into the season as such an overwhelming favorite to "repeat", that the O line would be inexperienced and critical to their sucess, that their overall depth would be a concern through a tough schedule.

 

If you are a HHS fan, you can rest on the idea that they played two tough games and found different ways to win which is a tribute in part to coaching; the O line made far fewer errors in the second game (particularly penalties) and established a running game......both of which will be keys to their offensive success moving forward; they have overcome the loss of a couple of key players (Telek/Mills)& are still winning. It has also confirmed that if healthy, the "front-line" talent is good enough to challenge for a title, particularly evidenced in the play of QB Hoge/Venneman/etc.

 

Conversely, it will be difficult to sustain any of this if they lose any of a few other key players, the D will have to be able to keep them from the slugfest like WC & Collins in '13 & Bryan S '14 because the O isn't as explosive to overcome this every week.

 

In the end, I think they (like CCH, LC, BC others) will have to progress & improve each week........I believe they will under Weinrich, will the others keep pace, we'll have to wait to see.
