I know Gill of Russell had a good game. I'm not sure if he was the leader but he would have to be up there. I'd say he had a double double.

Good win for the Devils. TEAM play tonight. Gill & Sizemore both had a good games. Good to see the other starters step up and get involved in the game when Vanhoose has an off night scoreing. Don't let up and keep that true Devil Pride going when you put on the Maroon & Gold. :fire: :fire: :fire:

well, maybe he was looking at we only beat them by 4 with Kasey, and without Kasey, Russell would lose?

Nice team win, led by Gill and Turner, the "missing inside presence" showed up as Russell controlled the boards , 38-23 led by Gill's, 11, Sizemore and Simpson did great job holding Daniel scoreless in the second half.

Van Hoose and Blair scored 18 each in last win, scored 6 and 8 in this one, and Russell wins by more?

Seems like not to long ago there was a big stir about kasey leaving the team, some even thought it would destroy Russell's chances for post season play. For whatever reason Kasey left I wish him the best. Good win for Russell over a good Rowan team that just kept improving all season. I agree that u really had few games in the 16th region this season that u could call upsets. I like the fact that it was such a close region all year that it kept u guessing from game to game.

As a side note: His four "most bestest favoritest teams" that he picked to win or will pick to win are still in the regional tournament!!!

 

UKCATSFAN , for what its worth- I do not have a problem with the Amazing Technicolor Blazer and you are right - he definitely loves the air time and notoriety. If it bothers/puzzles you that hack on him, you probably wouldn't want to go golfing with us either.:lol:

This was a very ugly game. Nobody could make a shot. I'm still trying to decide if it was good defense or poor offense.
