Reports say that 11 are missing.

I'm the naive and complacent American who lives without fear in my country. I ain't worried about them fools.

Neither is Obama. He is just counting the days until his next vacation begins.

I agree, it is time to go on the offensive. No holds barred. War.

It's time to do some live testing of the MOABs to kill as many ISIS members as quickly and efficiently as possible. Also, if our government knows where the missing 11 Libyan commercial jets are, then it would be better to blow them up sooner than later.

 

If we have really lost track of 11 commercial airliners that are in the hands of Islamic terrorists, then somebody needs to lose their jobs.

 

A lot of great questions that I don't have the answers to.

 

Deep down in I think most of us know killing ISIS is the solution but accomplishing it is extremely complicated.

 

Even if it were possible, killing ISIS will not stop the next group of terrorists. Just as killing Osama bin Laden and hundreds of Al Qaeda haven't killed that group. A war on ideology isn't a defined battle.

Another thought, terrorists have done what the rest of society hadn't yet wrapped their mind around: they've changed what "war" is. They are able to recruit members beyond nationalism, by promising a "higher purpose" beyond fighting for their country. It's not a war on PEOPLE, it's a war on what people BELIEVE.

 

No one wants to admit it's much, much harder than just killing the opposition. It's a fight to coexist with vastly different beliefs. And it is deeply rooted in oppression and abject poverty.

Another thought, terrorists have done what the rest of society hadn't yet wrapped their mind around: they've changed what "war" is. Is the oppression you speak of is the oppression of women not being allowed to vote, to drive cars, not allowed to be educated or be raped for being in public without a male relative? Or the oppression of being Jewish or Christian and being slaughtered if you do not convert? Is the poverty due to the fact that they do not allow freedom that allows individuals to be creative and prosper?

This war has absolutely nothing to do with poverty. It is time to stop making excuses for Islam. Followers of Mohammed slaughtered innocent victims during his lifetime and conquered vast swaths of territory using many of the same methods that ISIS uses today. He set the example for groups like ISIS to follow for all time.

 

The truth is most radical followers of Islam want somebody else to die for their faith, not themselves. The supply of suicide bombers is not inexhaustible and fear has worked before to defeat radial followers of Mohammed and it will work again.

 

ISIS has no means to produce advanced weapons and its only reliable source of income is oil. Our own advanced weaponry would have made quick work of these terrorists before they managed to conquery large Iraqi cities. The task of eliminating the ISIS army will be more difficult than it should have been had our president not been so timid about confronting the threat, but it can still bee done relatively quickly if our military is allowed to freely utilize the tools that it has at its disposal.

 

This is a religious war between Islamo-nazis and the civilized world. Obama needs to acknowledge it as such and start acting like a real commander-in-chief for a change.

Who is making excuses? It's an analysis of the issue.

You are correct, the radical muslims love to oppress and keep folks poor.

Let me tell you, the members of the military that I know are very concerned. They don't have clearance to any special info, but they are. Also, the military has NO faith in Obama. That's a bad thing for your troops, for them not to respect the Commander-in-Chief.

I echo whoever said that they are afraid ISIS is living here in the US and it's only a matter of time before they make their presence known. Very scary thought, but...likely.
