August 26, 201412 yr Tom Hanks would just be too much of a cheeseball in that role, if you ask me. Maybe, if he could play it in a dark way he could pull it off. But it's is a classic...I wouldn't touch it.

I would have never connected the two as I didn't think Earp lived that long, initially.
