August 16, 201412 yr Seems like the Lt Colonel has a very strong opinion of Obama and why he feels this way. Allen West: Obama Is an Islamist Never knew he lifted the ban on Libyans. All does seem true though.
August 16, 201412 yr Unbelievable. That is a terrible thing to say, no excuses. Another pointless attack on the president of the United States because of his race.
August 16, 201412 yr Mr. West is not calling Obama out because of his color.. He is calling him out because of his policies...
August 16, 201412 yr Unbelievable. That is a terrible thing to say, no excuses. Another pointless attack on the president of the United States because of his race.Um... Just curious, have you ever seen Allen West?
August 16, 201412 yr ZERO chance I EVER believe ANY President is against the safety of the U.S. Therefore, Mr West's comments are ignorant.
August 16, 201412 yr ZERO chance I EVER believe ANY President is against the safety of the U.S. Therefore, Mr West's comments are ignorant. Yeah, I just lean more toward the president is completely inept.
August 16, 201412 yr Yeah, I just lean more toward the president is completely inept. If he had said that then you could at least have a debate. What he said was silly.
August 16, 201412 yr "Sorry, but I can only explain this one way: Barack Hussein Obama is an Islamist in his foreign policy perspectives and supports their cause." This is where the debate lies. His current quotes/actions regarding Hamas either show his bias toward this side of the argument or his ineptness. I'm torn.

His current quotes/actions regarding Hamas either show his bias toward this side of the argument or his ineptness. I'm torn. Could he really believe that peace can be brought to the region and eventually the world by just allowing a winner to take control of the region, no matter who that winner would be? That would be thinking along the lines of Neville Chamberlain, which would fall in the category of ineptness. It may not be outright support, but I believe because of Obama's upbringing he has sympathies for the followers of Islam. His policy could actually be a combination of both, he does not want to fight them and therefore follows a policy of hands-off, as much as he can get by with.
August 16, 201412 yr You make good points..An offshoot, as I was reading this morning is that the rise in Muslim populations in Euorope has led to a rise in support of anti-antisemitism, supported by the left that needs the working class support of the Muslims. Here we go again. History, doomed to repeat it, yadda yadda yadda.
August 16, 201412 yr I disagree with COL West. I accept the possibility that Obama is a radical Muslim. However, I think that there are at least two other possible explanations for Obama's actions in the Middle East. The first one is that Islamic terror groups are making large deposits of money in one or more offshore accounts belonging to our president. A third possibility is that he is simply the most incompetent and idiotic president who has ever occupied the Oval Office. I prefer giving Barack Obama the benefit of doubt until it is proven that something more than total incompetence is responsible for his failed presidency.
August 16, 201412 yr Presidents require good people around them when it comes to foreign policy (and other things, but its really important on foreign/military policy). So who are the people in the circle making decisions or giving advice. Sec of State Kerry? Sec of Defense Hagel? Those two do not inspire a lot of confidence. UN Ambassador Susan Rice, aka The Tea Lady? Her historical focus has been Africa and her style is very direct and usually swift when she acts. After Benghazi, Libya and Egypt she may be sitting this one out. Valerie Jarrett? She has links to Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood. She's almost definitely involved but not sure how much. CIA head John Brennan? Probably laying low after Libya/Benghazi. He has strong links to the Saudis and they probably do not like what is going on. Or maybe they do. Its hard to say. So its easy to blame the top. And, in theory, its his responsibility. But looking at the primary players in the next tier where policy should be established and executed its hard to have confidence in any foreign policy/military actions.
August 16, 201412 yr It's easy to blame Obama for his failures and it is also the right thing to do. He nominated Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Chuck Hagel, and a host of other dimwitted, incompetent people to his cabinet and the Democrat-controlled Sentate consented to the appointments. If John Kerry stood out as an exceptionally incompetent Secretary of State among an otherwise stellar cabinet, the Obama would deserve some benefit of doubt, but the truth is Kerry and Hagel fit right in with the rest of Obama's incredibly misguided cabinet members. A competent cabinet member would not want to be associated with this cast of clowns. Hillary Clinton is running away from Obama's shadow, but it has already stained her otherwise unremarkable resume.
August 16, 201412 yr Another Infowars-Newsmax thread starter of a right-wing daffy duck saying wacky things. On a credibility scale, Allen West lies in the Sarah Palin and Ted Nugent camp. West, a former favorite of Roger Ailes, couldn't keep his most recent job at a right-wing media company, getting canned for sexist remarks. I guess West's message is what happens when birthers have to move on.
