You can not make that argument against Hart county....

We will see.... South will make the Quarter final of State this year easily IMO.

Tilhman will be their toughest challenge. If they don't get side tracked they should do well but they will be their own worst enemy when they meet Good competition! Unless you overlook the young Indians of Adair...to my shock they looked very good tonight. Absolutely the Best Adair team I have ever seen!

I agree that Warren Central is better then both, but I feel that until WC gets everything figured out teams like East and Etown will be competitive. That is one of the drawbacks to having a completely new coaching staff and system.... By the time WC gets to the playoffs, they will be a completely different team then they are now though....

 

I think we can put Warren East being competitive with Warren Central straight to bed. Annihilated by a team that Warren Central destroyed and then the Dragons rolled right over a Barren County team that East struggled with. Again, we won't have those nice direct comparisons for E-Town, but I feel fairly confident in the same statement there too.

Perhaps Adair might give South Warren a better game than we thought? One thing is for certain, 'Roe is no threat at all. That game with South Warren could be every bit as ugly as last year.

I agree that Central would kill East after tonight's games from both teams. Central is starting to click on all cylinders... Purples better watch out! Lol!

One team no one is talking about, and that I have yet to see an article about is the South Warren Spartans that return the #1 Defense in the State from a year ago. The also return 7 starters that were only Sophomores last season... What are your thoughts?

SW is ranked #1 in the State, they have finished the season UNDEFEATED (something last years team failed to accomplish), and they have looked virtually unstoppable in doing so. They currently have several players being recruited by D1 colleges and look to make a deep run in the playoffs.... Thoughts???

If they can get by an ever improving and healthy Tilghman team, I think they've got a good shot at making it to the title game. Corbin and Bell will also be a tough challenge. I don't think Louisville Central is quite up to there normal standards this year and if they happen to meet them in the semi's, I like there chances..

E-town's 3 wins have come over teams with a combined won-loss record of 1-11, doubt they are comparable to Warren Central.

 

Know I'm revisiting this later, but you might want to check out how E'town closed the season.

 

Beat Henry County (7-3), 35-7 (Henry season worsts for points allowed, points scored and difference).

Beat Glasgow (7-3), 42-0 (believed to be first running-clock loss in Glasgow's history).

 

Glasgow has a D-I running back (Marquez Trigg, committed to WKU). Had 18 yards on 18 carries. Zero carries more than 5 yards.

 

Henry beat Elizabethtown last year at Henry, while Glasgow blasted E'town last year.

 

Also the only 3-A program to keep South Warren under 40.

South warren will benefit from an easy region. They should make it to regional championship game. I doubt they win that but if they do they will get put out in semi state. They are a good team but not at the level of Corbin, central or bell

This is a Team that no one and I mean no one thought would be undefeated this year even myself!! They have a very disciplined defense. I do expect those games to be a lot closer than what they have faced this year but I feel that they are very well at the same level as any of the top 4 or 5 teams this year!!
