If you are a BGHS fan then you know the definition of "EMBARRASSMENT". And I think you are missing the point. Only saying that BGHS is back down to Earth this year. Sorry if because you lost 27-0 to. Manual it struck a nerve. 1) I am not saying SW is better. 2) I have NEVER said that SW is going to win State. 3) I have never said BGHS will not be pretty good this year. I am simply saying that SW has not fallen off as much as people would like to think since last year, and BGHS is NOWHERE NEAR as good as they have been for 3 years.

On another note, DBLTake, I might be a little more worried that you're about to meet another "sleeping giant" with the state's second highest rated player waiting for y'all up on Louisville Rd. this coming Friday. :whistling:

That would be an amazing feet considering they only played on 25 yards of the field starting from the end zone??? It was NOTHING like real 7 on 7.... Your source needs his facts checked.

South Warren just won, and beat a team by 20 ranked top 10 in the State in many peoples eyes.... Can they get a little respect now? The Sophomore Quarterback I mentioned earlier had 136 Rushing. Yards and 2 TD's (Jay Eblen 2.0).... Our 2 athletic receivers Bryan Cummings and CJ Hayes combined for 100 yards (Not amazing but once the chemistry gets better, I can see these two getting many more yards.). And the Defense still looks tough. Although not quite what they were, they will still be a factor in every game.

However, it must be acknowledged that they are playing in 3A with 5A enrollment and because of the re-alignment being based on four-year enrollment, they will move only to 4A next season even though they are at current 5A enrollment levels. I am sure many schools in the state would like to spend 7 years "playing down" in classification....As for the Top 20, when you begin to win against a Top 20 schedule, you will be recognized as a Top 20 team. I think there are more good teams in the state than you realize.

They are a brand new program so all this 3A, 4A, 5A can be thrown out the window...Only 3-4 years in existence as a Varsity team, so what they have accomplished in such a short period of time is impressive at any level.

 

As for them being Top 20, I am not referring to all Classes.... I am saying they are Top 10 in 3A. And if you feel Monroe after the way they lost, Warren East, or Garrard are still better then you are completely delusional!

Ok let's talk about enrollment. South was classed as 3a they opened with less than 800 students. Sure that number was low and south got a four year gift in 3 a no arguing that fact.

Now for realignment. It's based on average MALE enrollment. In addition they only had 1,002 students last year Warren Central had 996. KHSAA released the average enrollment and south avg male enrollment was less than central during that period. I know for a fact that last ayers graduating class was only 242. And it was the first 4 year class. So if you average that they are 250 per class now them it puts them at about 1,000 students. But you still half to figure out MALE enrollment. That I am not sure of but it was on KHSAA website. Will the school grow probably will it move up in three years who knows WCBOE want the schools to be between 1,000 and 1,100 each.
