You are right I even expressed why and how to determine if past influences future success. That said .No I did not get my FEELINGS HURT as you keep alluding to. I am attempting to educate you and other posters on BGP so LET'S TRY this SK Basketball 101:

Seniors are guaranteed Varsity only; All others are Var/Jv /FR eligible.Upperclassman ineligible for Freshman. Starting is performance based Starting varsity /game specific not eligible for JV.

Lesson completed. Test will begin in a few weeks.. Study hard and try to keep facts straight . I hope each student will receive and A on this lesson

So what I'm hearing is...outside the 5 starters and the seniors (and moving upper classman to freshman), SK will move personnel wherever they need to in order to win freshman and JV games, regardless of what it does to the rest of the players. So players that have proven worthy at an upper level can always be moved down to lower levels...when needed to win??? Example, 3 JV starters moving down to play freshman in the tournament only...That's okay at SK?? And playing significant JR varsity contributors in JV games is also okay at SK? I mean, I know it's not breaking any rules and I have said...to each their own. It has never effected me at all. But it's not the norm by any means and applies to why SK freshman and JV success doesn't lead to varsity success at SK. They pull kids down to play when other teams don't. It's fine (it really is and I could care less), but it's the answer to your fan's question.

So now I know two players that go to SK that played competitive AAU that aren't playing anymore.

There are a LOT of kids both Boys and Girls that have logged hours and time playing AAU at various levels and various sports that are no longer playing basketball (or their sport) for whatever reason. Check out your own comments regarding staying competative on the other forum.

Again RCC9 , you put your own spin on the information written. Where did I EVER state "When needed for a win." That is where you are wrong my friend and repeating the previous post to be able to understand developing player development is individualized has nothing and I repeat NOTHING to do with winning a basketball game regardless of level.

You know I can't resist cake! Similar to you and Cupcakes!

When "needed for a win" was my input. And the perception of others. I'm done with this and was done until you pointed out that I "liked" the post...assuming I liked the dirty play part of it when it had nothing to do with that at all. Again, you make assumptions that are usually wrong.

And you know I coach, so you know that I know what happens in high school sports. Maybe it is just a coincidence that two of the three that were starters and benched in that game were long time AAU players and now don't play bball at all. We may never know. But we also may never know if that was the straw that broke the camels back to playing at SK. They were both MS stars that were part of the future...heck, they were 8th graders playing freshman at the time. But now neither play. Again, we may never know why or if that situation had anything to do with it or not. Just know there were not happy that it happened to them at the time.

They should be fine! Come see them play! Make it out to the HHS game and you'll see real athletes! (on both sides...just saying come watch girls)

Good night RCC9, It is late and I need my beauty sleep. Tomorrow is a new day so my friend I HOPE we can put this to rest for there will always be a( What if Question?) in sports that will always result in different points of views and sometimes those involved are not happy . Life is Fair it isn't Equal my friend. Sleep well.
