All this talk of beer reminds me: I hate drunk people; especially when I'm not drunk.

I've always found that there are different types of drunks. Some are pleasant... some are not. The latter are easy to spot.

All that most maddens and torments; all that stirs up the lees of things; all truth with malice in it; all that cracks the sinews and cakes the brain; all the subtle demonisms of life and thought; all evil, to Getslow, were visibly personified, and made practically assailable in Randy Parker. He piled upon the boy's childishly wicked brow the sum of all the general rage and hate felt by his whole race from Adam down; and then, as if his chest had been a mortar, he burst his hot heart's shell upon it.

Man oh man I forgot how much I loathed Moby Dick.

This. SAP eats a tiny bit of my soul every shift at work.

I hate super trendy things. I currently hate this whole Zach Morris look people have grown fond of for any activity near water....the tank top and backwards adjustable hat look drives me nuts.

While I dislike the trendy stuff, too. I hate the actual software. :D

Around here SAP Business One Version 9 is referred to as SAP Business One Version Sucks, or B1S for short. :angrybird9:

#teenagedaughterproblems

Now that is some 100% genuine Nostradamus :poop: but how about an answer to the problem?

Man oh man I forgot how much I loathed Moby Dick.

GET OUT.

If I could get away with talking like the narrator of that book all day long, I absolutely would.

Along those same lines....When I'm drunk, there is nothing that's a bigger buzz kill than some sober person trying to rain on my parade. :D

Finding out that the reason no one from a department in your company has responded to your emails about something semi important is that of the 3 people in the department, 1 is on vacation, and the other 2's last day with the company was last friday.

GET OUT.

It was just SOOOOOOO difficult to read.

Top 5 most difficult reads that I've come across:

1) Canterbury Tales - I got a legitimate half of the way through, and then opted for Clifferbury Tales.

2) Moby Dick - Took way longer than it should have taken me to read. Should have opted for Moby Cliff.

3) The Sound and the Fury - Stream of consciousness writers can go take a long walk off a short pier.

4) The Silmarillion - What did I just read?

5) Blood Meridian - Incredible book. Incredibly bleak. Incredibly difficult to read without much any punctuation. Incredibly disappointed that I didn't realize there was an audio book I could have listened to and forgone discerning my way through the text.

Honorable Mention) for colored girls who have considered suicide / when the rainbow is enuf - The title should have scared me off...but it was required reading. Does anyone read this one without being required to anyway? Come on, Ms. Shange...enough with the ridiculous avant garde poetic writing form. Give me something I can actually make out.

I just struggled to get through that post full of insane size and font switches. It was like reading a Mark Danielewski novel.

NOW THAT WILL PICK UP CHICKS

Well nothing's worked to this point so let's try something unexpected.

Why are you always the Dan Aykroyd to my Jane Curtin!?!? :angrybird10:

(I agree though)
