You laid it out perfectly. If you would have told me over the course of 3 months LeBron would go from playing in Miami en route to the NBA Finals, to losing by a record amount in the NBA Finals to the point of drawing sympathy, going back to Cleveland while brokering a deal to land Kevin Love I would have said you are crazy.

You think Minnesota won in the trade? 95% of the time you trade away your superstar player for "potential" you lose out in the deal. It would be an exception to the rule. Minnesota dropped the ball when before LeBron made his move, Golden State was rumored to be offering Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, and David Lee in exchange for Love and willing to take the expiring contract of Kevin Martin. When LeBron made his move it stripped their power from Love.
