Better stay away from Anthony Watts' climate-change-denial website. He has no academic training or scientific expertise in the physics of climate or related disciplines.

Why are you so fixated on Al Gore? This debate moved past him eons ago. (There's a joke there.) Serious scientists matter. People like Anthony Watts don't. People who can force power plants to quit burning coal matter. People who set emissions standards matter. I don't matter. You don't matter.

That was very well spoken. I'm all for environmental responsibility. But the sheer volume of information out there by "serious scientists" is astounding in it's contradiction. I'll take you to task to find what consititutes serious science here. And when you find one who's credentialed to suit you, there will be another equally credentialed who disputes it. That's why I chuckle at the sheer panic and angst over global warming.

It's 2pm and currently 70 degrees at CVG. But what does that mean? what. does. that. mean.

I'm for being kind and responsible to the environment as well . I recycle . I bike ( alot) . I never ever litter , and pick up what I can . I'm nuts over the ocean and its reefs . But man does not control the temps over the earth.

Hey, I knew where this would go when I posted it. I baited it, and it's been fun. But on a serious note, and I'm no tree hugger, but I'm all for better environmental responsibility. If nothing else, while I think the global warming issue is silly, it has at the very least brought attention to what we each should consider our personal responsibility. For that, I'm glad.

there is no contradiction . the larger issue of global warming is a hoax , but the issue of treating our surroundings well on a local or global level is common sense .

It's not contradictory at all. Just because we don't believe Global Warming is a serious issue doesn't mean we can't try to keep our planet clean...

Climate change is real.......it's also natural. It's looking like the earth is heading into a cooling trend. Fire up your SUVs, TTP needs a warming trend.
