July 30, 201412 yr Gut-feeling....Reds win today, and they end up acquiring a bat by tomorrow's deadline. They lose today and they stay as constructed. I think the front office thinks exactly the opposite. As long as they win, they will just wait for Votto and Phillips to lead them thru the stretch run and into a wild card berth. I was hoping they would go on an extended losing streak and maybe embarrass the front office into making a move. If they win today after winning last night there will be no moves. Wasn't the attendance over 30,000 on Monday?

I just think they are seeing the crowds still supporting this team as it is, boring and all and there won't be any moves along the lines that are being talked about on here. They worry too much about team chemistry and crowd loyalty in this organization

Not a fan of taking fastballs down the middle regardless of when they are thrown. If it's HS and the guy is really struggling, okay. But these are professionals. 9 times out of 10 it's a grooved fastball to get ahead since he just walked the previous hitter. Just my personal opinion.
