Plane just looks to have gone down. Which is still very scary, but...I don't think it's a Malaysia Airlines type of situation at this point. That being said, I'm never flying again

Malaysia Airlines situation is that it appears very clearly that someone manually and intentionally tampered with automated equipment, and that it intentionally went off the grid. Who did that and where it ended, I don't know, but that seemed very intentional. This flight does not appear to be the same type of situation in that, it appears weather played a role, since the pilot was communicating and requested to change course to avoid the serious weather.

July 24, 201412 yr Delta tells me I have flown over 200,000 miles in the last year. I always dread every minute of it. However, as LRCW posts, the roads are more dangerous. There have been MANY moments on the road where I am convinced without Angels watching over me, I would be history.
