You're not going to find a better trio than Lebron, Love and KI in the game right now. Add in Varejao and Thompson and that is a complete starting lineup. Also add in the fact that this would argubly be the best starting lineup Lebron has ever had and that is #nuffsaid IMO. Plus I said pencil them in which means it can be erased.

Kyrie, while he does hold the skill set, has not put up great numbers compared to the rest of the NBA PG's.

 

If you go by numbers then there are more than a few I believe that put up better and at least equal. (Seen it on NBA headlines a while back).

 

Many people fascinated with them and go on his name but his game hasn't been amazingly superior to other PG's.

For me Kyrie is going to have to show he can stay healthy for a season or two before he needs to be talked about as an elite PG. That's great if he has the talent, but what good is it if he is not there to utilize it?

Not saying he's the second coming of Magic Johnson by any means...but, let's look at who the heck has Kyrie been forced to play with lately that's been a legit threat...Waiters? Thompson?

KI is a top 10 point guard. I've never heard him put up in the top 5.

Stats wise I expect his assists to get a bump. That's the only stat of his I would call disappointing.

The one area he will have to improve on and I suspect he will is his catch and shoot , shooting percentage. Last year out of all guards with at least 50 attempts Kyrie was 2nd last in the NBA. Playing with Lebron he has to improve there first.

I see Flip Saunders keeping this going until the trade deadline. He's going to get as much as he can out of this trade for Love.

 

Just for kicks, let's say this is true, and what happens if Wiggins proves in that time that he's exactly what Cleveland thought he was when they drafted him and he's no longer on the table? Saunders out of luck and trying to deal with other teams? Have to think he'd be on the hotseat for not pulling the trigger sooner.
