July 23, 201412 yr Can we agree that what the Reds need most are an upgrade in LF, SS and a LF pitcher in the bullpen? if so, you can't improve each of these spots enough to be sellers. Best bet is to play it out with what you have and try to fix those weaknesses by next season. Isn't that what we said last season? Is Mike Brown running this team?
July 23, 201412 yr If the Cards pull the David Price trade, this thing is OOOVVVVEEEERRRR. No chance. Yes, we've been saying it for a while now and nothing has been done. The big guy must have thought that Ludwick and Cozart would hit. I'd expect him to move Lutz/Heisey into LF and pray that Cozart begins to show some life. Kind of underwhelmed at this point.
July 23, 201412 yr Why in the world would you put Heisey in LF? He's the worst player on the major league roster. Ludwick is much better.
July 23, 201412 yr There is absolutely no reason to think the Reds will do anything to improve the team at this point.
July 23, 201412 yr There is absolutely no reason to think the Reds will do anything to improve the team at this point. There he is, the beacon of optimism!
July 23, 201412 yr Why in the world would you put Heisey in LF? He's the worst player on the major league roster. Ludwick is much better. Reminds of the quote, "but that would be an insult to Mickey Mouse".
July 23, 201412 yr There he is, the beacon of optimism! So you a have a good reason to think they will? Love to hear that
July 23, 201412 yr Author There is absolutely no reason to think the Reds will do anything to improve the team at this point. Sadly I agree.
July 23, 201412 yr I'm over Walt. His tenure with the Reds is best known for lack of moves and horrible contracts.
July 23, 201412 yr Why in the world would you put Heisey in LF? He's the worst player on the major league roster. Ludwick is much better. I wouldn't. I'd sell the farm and get STANTON. :dancingpa
July 23, 201412 yr Two on nobody out. Leake bunts the runners ahead, and Hamilton with sac fly to right. Good guys finally on the board!
