There has to more to this story. I know Superintendent Blavatt and there is not one parent in the entire Boone system that can get him to take action unless he felt it necessary to do so. He is not pressured by the Boone parents in any fashion. There is no question the coach knows exactly what the issue is. There is no question the superintendent made it very clear to him. Anyone who works in Boone system knows all to well how direct the superintendent can be.

Now I'm hearing conflicting reports about why Niemi was suspended. One report has to do with Josh Morgan leaving the team. Thats all I can say and all I will say. Who knows what to believe anymore? All I know is Ryle, like Holmes, has a lot of internal problems to take care of and don't be surprised to see some transfers or changes made at the schools.

You have to be kidding. Boone's superintendent is not about what is right or what is best for the kids, he is ALL about greasing the squeaky wheel. Always has been.

I am confident in saying that the religious reference in writing that Nate used as a tool to try to make peace to settle some internal strife on the team was the suspendable offense. Sounds like Saudi Arabia to me. Now, his W-L record at Ryle speaks for itself because it is not very good, especially when you look at the school's size and talent pool. Nate is a great family man and teacher IMO and a man of principle. Ryle may be better off with a change of coaches from a success standpoint but that is not my call.

If I'm Nate, I would wait two years then step down from Ryle. Since he is having problems with the sophmores and the soph parents. Stick it to em.

I think if you're asking the parents of some of the current kids , the answer is "C: Playing time for my boy".

For Nate's sake, I hope he leaves and fines a job somewhere else. Believe it or not, there are some jobs that just aren't worth it. Ryle is starting to seem more and more like one of those jobs.
