That district is so up in the air, nobody knows if they are in or out, let alone if they are home or away.

 

This week should clear it up a little though.

Putnam is Awesome!!..Its hands down, the best stadium in the state in my opinion...Anyone have any more pics they can post?

I think you would have a much better time hanging out at Putnam.

If Onetoya offers ya press passes, I would rather invite you to sit with us, the FANS. That's where the "atmosphere" comes into play. I "only" can offer ya 45 yd tickets, but ...I want to invite you to our "tailgate" party. WE watch the players walk up the alley side by side taking up the whole street. They they run down the inzone stairs onto the field. I get goosebumps just thinking it's almost over.

 

Ya really should think about it. After we win, we might have another party. Whatcha think Onetoya???

I know what you mean T-cats-newest-fan, every time we are walking around the side of the stadium and walking through the fans and down the stairs and then finally rushing out onto the field, i feel like i'm going to explode!! We have so much adrenaline pumping through our bodies that it is unbelievable to see and hear!! I know that it is an experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life. It's just that amazing! :ylsuper:

Im suprised nobody has mentioned male's stadium. It was built recently..and is VERY nice..Manual is the best...I dont think you can argue there....I remember as a child that Trinity played some of its bigger games there...back when Ballard was strong..in the 80's...they used to hold it there because of the size of the crowd. Man..that stadium has history

Like I said at the beginning of this thread, Putnam is my number 1, but I liked the setting at Bell County last year in the playoffs.

 

Down in the valley, this place can get pretty electric for a big game.

I agree BGFF, but personally I have not felt too close to the place cosidering that Rockcastle's record there is 1-4:mad:

 

A little bit of useless information:

 

Did you know that everytime that Rockcastle County has had to use the visitors locker room they have lost at Admiral Stadium. The only time that they were in the home Locker room was in 01' when they played Washington County there and they won. Some fellow colleagues and myself had a un-easy feeling this year when we went to play Mason County and we were stuck in that visitors locker room, we knew we were doomed.

Guru, more than likely Ashland will finish 1st in district 8 and Perry County Central will finish 4th in district 7. So there is the homefield game for Ashland.

This might be a double post so I apologize if it is. I lost my other post. Since Guru didn't respond, I will extend our invitation to the play off games if (when) hosted at Ashland. It is something everyone should experience if only once. Even the parents feel the adrenline that the players feel as expressed earlier.

 

Thank you for all the nice things said about Putnam. I mention that because of the threads about being "nice" and stopping all the "trashtalk". There probably isn't a bigger rivelry then Boyd Co., but earlier they expressed the love of our statium. I appreciate those. Everyone CAN get along...

Newport Stadium, hands down!!! Nah, really I can't believe that noone mentioned CovCath. I know that Saturday's aren't the same as Friday's in terms of atmosphere, but if you have ever watched a CovCath-Highlands game there you would agree. The student body is what gives the place it's atmosphere.

Also, as a one time thing, the best atmosphere I've ever been to was Highlands-Elder at Paul Brown Stadium. It was cool to see all of those fans to watch a match-up of nationally ranked teams.

I must stop now b/c I've filled my Highlands quota for one post. As a Bred's fan, I can't bring myself to say the name again, ha ha.

Ive seen a lot of high school football games around the state but I've never seen an atmosphere like the pit at elder. Hands down the best place.

As much as I dislike turf the atmosphere at highlands is great with everyone screaming and eveything echoing off the school and making it twice as loud. Plus all the little Higlands fans walking behind you telling you that you s***. You've gotta love it.

I would say Danville or Putnam is the best. I can't pick Montgomery because if you have ever ran or seen a fade pattern ran there you know that poor player winds up on the track, which gets hairy in cleats. I also think Hoptown has a great atmosphere.
