I would name Hoge, Racke and Fiegler. I would have Moore as the #1 athlete.

Hate to see anyone quitting on their teammates especially when he was starting at WR simply because he lost out at the starting QB position. With all the bashing of the program by someone on here though it doesn't surprise me.

Hoge is clearly the best QB in NKY and I dont even have to see any other QB's. Sorry but come out and watch him and you will see why.

 

He is elusive, fast, very accurate and has a cannon for an arm. He hasnt even shown us his running capabilities as well. He has only run when forced to run and he had a 50 yrd scamper for a TD the other night vs Elder on a bad hoof that still looked fast.

 

Moore would be my 2nd choice.

 

The Grainger kid from Bellevue is having a nice year so props to him and it doesnt matter if he plays Class A ball, he is still performing at his level.

I agree with Q and many who say that Hoge is clearly #1.

Before last weeks game he had 950 yds 12 TD's 5 int's and 60% completion %

Billy Prickett is curently at 1116 yds, 88/141 (62.4%), 13 TD, 3 INTs

I have not seen the other QB's in NKY play except for the CovCath QB but I will say Hoge has been outstanding this year. I went into this year with high expectations for him and he has exceeded them. Besides all the things that Q mentioned, I will add he is very poised - does not get rattled. The long TD run against Elder really surprised me. When he broke free, I thought he would be caught around the 20 or so by the Elder DB chasing him. He simply never gained any ground on him. Impressive.

 

I talked to some Elder folks I know after the game- definitely NOT HHS fans - and I can tell you they were VERY impressed with Hoge...

I've seen a lot of posts that Moore doesn't have a passing game, if all your looking at is stats, then yes, it would look that he doesn't but have you seen his passing attempts stats? If you were a coach and your quarterback is dominate on the read option and the opposing team has no answer for it then why would you change your game plan? They don't need to pass the ball as much...This kid has a cannon and is accurate, no offence to his receivers but I've seen a lot of deep balls dropped that were catchable. You can't always just look at stats and make a judgment on a player, a look in person would be a more accurate judgment

I have seen him play plenty of times. His future is probably at wr/rb. I hope he gets a D1 offer.
