I wouldn't fret about Brossart's overall future just yet. Yes, a small class is coming in but St. Mary is currently having a growth spurt as is the city of Alexandria with the new Arcadia development being built.

The problem is tuition to St.Mary and then to Brossart is an expensive 12 years that fewer families are willing or able to pay. Many opt for Campbell County schools at some point and some others end up at NCC or ND.

Not sure what the answer is. Merging NCC and BB is never going to be an option. Well it is not an option that many will buy in to.

As for football.....kind of a tough sell from the beginning versus soccer and basketball at Brossart. The 2A games were running clocks at half last year and would be just as bad in 2014 and I suggested becoming Independent was the only way to survive in a thread awhile ago. They can play a 1A schedule that does not include Beechwood with 20 players and survive. Can't do that against a 2A schedule.

I think $1000.00 is standard for breaking contract. Anyone know for sure?

All the ones I have ever seen are 4K.

All the changes being made are for the better, new additions. New classrooms, gym floor and most of all with Mr. Rudder a new attitude!!!!

They regained my support.

Dan Ridder is a huge addition for BBHS to say the least! Not only is he a great man, he is a great motivator with a vey positive attitude and outlook on life! He is about accountability, for the young and old! am saddened and jealous that he did not become than principal on the Hill! Wishing nothing but the best and most success to Danny Ridder and his endeavors at BBHS!

Close the place

that's a typical NCC response! Despite football, Brossart compete's with NCC in every sport, so its easy to understand your motivation.

Not quite....
