June 7, 201412 yr My thought exactly. They have been averaging 12 turnovers during the playoffs. Had they played like that last night, game would have never been in doubt and Spurs win going away 20+. Some of the to's were just horrible passes, nothing in particular that the Heat did, Spurs just looked out of sync for 38 minutes or so of the game, very un-typical for them. Out of sync? Really? Miami is going to force some turnovers, they always do when they're engaged. Spurs moved the ball extremely well last night IMO.
June 7, 201412 yr One of the most historic shooting nights in Finals history hardly makes for a poor showing. Heat haters are out of their minds. If the Spurs play exactly like they did last night they'll have a great chance of being NBA champs. Again, if you only look at stats you can reachthat conclusion. The Spurs were downright awful in thethird quarter and not great in the first half. They were unbelievable in the 4th.
June 7, 201412 yr Spurs had an incredible shooting night which allowed them to over come a lot of sloppiness. But it was a 2 point game with 3 minutes and change so it's not like the Heat weren't in the game. If Spurs win game 2 I think they'll roll on and win in 5. If Heat gets game 2 I think they go on to win.

June 7, 201412 yr I was a bit worried late in the third quarter but a superb fourth quarter made me smile. Love the Spurs and their approach to the game. Duncan is one of the best ever on and off the court. Go Spurs!

June 7, 201412 yr Author VOR, can you explain your comment in the update thread about how the AC not working somehow favored the Spurs? Did they have cooling fans on their bench that the Heat didn't or something? I don't remember posting that. Someone else perhaps? I did comment after the game that the Spurs depth helped them, but then someone pointed out that the minutes played by the key players weren't very different.
June 7, 201412 yr Author What arrogance were they showing last night? I watched the entire game off and on and didn't see what your talking about I didn't see any arrogance last night. I was speaking in general, not about anything specific to last night.
