If you shoot 60%, you can make up for sloppy ball handling. The Spurs can play more efficiently, but they had a historic shooting night for an NBA finals game. They hit over 50% of their threes. That's no where near their worst game of the post season, give me a break with the hyperbole.

June 6, 201412 yr Author Everyone must have watched a different game than I (and Cats3x) did last night. The Spurs were GREAT in the first half. They had the bad 3rd quarter but played about as good as they can play the rest of the game. I thought both teams were excellent in the first half. It was high level of play on both sides. The Spurs had 10 turnovers in the first half and the Heat had 7, so the turnovers were a non issue in the first half. Both teams shot close to 50% in the first half. The pace was fast. I thought it was a great basketball game and it is a shame LeBron cramped up because that game was headed to a fantastic finish.
June 6, 201412 yr I got home just in time to see the 4th quarter. Looked like the Heat got their tails whipped pretty bad. With Lebron out, it looked like the rest of the Heat players just didnt care.

I am guessing he was out of gas too because he did nothing to step up when LeBron went out.

June 6, 201412 yr VOR, can you explain your comment in the update thread about how the AC not working somehow favored the Spurs? Did they have cooling fans on their bench that the Heat didn't or something?

June 6, 201412 yr If I'm Miami, I'm extremely worried after this one. Spurs didn't play well at all for 80% of the night. My thought exactly. They have been averaging 12 turnovers during the playoffs. Had they played like that last night, game would have never been in doubt and Spurs win going away 20+. Some of the to's were just horrible passes, nothing in particular that the Heat did, Spurs just looked out of sync for 38 minutes or so of the game, very un-typical for them.
June 7, 201412 yr Some one didn't watch the game... One of the most historic shooting nights in Finals history hardly makes for a poor showing. Heat haters are out of their minds. If the Spurs play exactly like they did last night they'll have a great chance of being NBA champs.
