May 30, 201412 yr Why would anyone think that any of the Reds Players will hit over .300? There is not one player in the line-up other than Votto that ever hit over .300 in the minors. Not that it really matters, but that's not true... Bruce, Hamilton & Heisey all hit over .300 in the minors. So did Phillips, plus he's a career .271 hitter on the MLB level. If your point is that the offense is performing as the back of their baseball cards would suggest, I'd tend to agree with you.
May 30, 201412 yr 5 Ks and no walks last night? Wow. So last 7 games 75 Ks and sorry its 7 walks?? How do they even win one game? Good points malachi.. The Reds have to have the lowest hitting IQ in the majors with Cozart leading the way. It is very hard to even watch him hit any more. He will swing at pitches in any situation, even if the team needs him to be patient and take some pitches. He may need to be sent down for a while to get a different perspective.

May 30, 201412 yr I don't think I can even watch with lineup out there today. Why did we even bring Lutz up?

May 31, 201412 yr Great play by Phillips and Leake. The challenge may well stick, but great play nevertheless.
