May 28, 201412 yr Without question. 19 year old Colerain Township woman' date=' Kendra Wright, has been missing for 11 days now. Have barely heard a word about it. You couldn't go 10 minutes on local TV without hearing about him.[/quote'] Without question... His fam put up $2,500. The UC factor is what brought attention not money from them.

May 28, 201412 yr We'll have to agree to disagree. $2,500 is the bare minimum to attract someone's attention for a missing child. I don't think we know how wealthy the family is or isn't.
May 29, 201412 yr Author Regardless of how much money his family had it didn't have, and why he received a lot of attention doesn't change the fact that a young man is now gone.
May 29, 201412 yr When the President of the University puts it out there and the entire UC community involved you will get more media attention. If anything I think this has caused the girl from Colerain to be noticed more because of the discussion. 700wlw mentioned her story several times this morning. However, where is that community in the search?

May 29, 201412 yr Author All death inquiries should be conducted as homicide investigations until the facts prove differently. I think that CPD brought up suicide too soon. Just because you find a person hanging doesn't mean it was suicide. And they said it was suicide within hours if finding him, too soon in my opinion.
May 29, 201412 yr I think this was a big deal because most people can relate to this family. A son away from home at college and goes missing. A parents worse nightmare, I think most people could syomatize with then which is why this got so much support and air time.
May 29, 201412 yr After reading into this a little bit, it just seems fishy to me. Most people who hang themselves do it in a place where they can be easily found or found soon. He went out of his way to not be found. Another thing, did the police even look for extra fingerprints on the wine bottle or in the basement of the building? If it's true that workers were going into the building during the week he had been missing, wouldn't they find him or at least smell something or see the broken window and be suspicious?

Anything to back this up or is it just speculation on your part?

May 29, 201412 yr Author Heard someone yesterday said it could have been Erotic asphyxiation? I thought about that as well. IF that is true, I hope that the parents use that to send a message to other kids so that their son would not have died in vain.
May 29, 201412 yr Author I stopped in front of the building about 2 AM when I was coming back from where I work on the weekends, I did not get out of my car. But one side of the building its all driveway up against the house. But the other side it's all bushes and stuff about 5-6 feet high, and it looked thick. I can see how someone could break in that way and no one would know, unless they knew there was a window(s) there.

If in fact that was the situation, keep in mind the parents are still in shock over losing their son, probably have no idea about what just happened, could be embarrassed to talk about it. It may take some time before they would be ready to address it. I knew a family that went through that situation a few years ago. I'm sure all of the those emotions and than some flooded their minds.
