Campbell County Football Summer Camp

 

Dates: June 16th – June 19th

Cost: $60.00 ($65.00 Day of Camp)

Time: 12:30 – 3:30pm

Location: CCHS Football Field (Grades 1st – 8th)

Camp Director: Stephen Lickert

What to bring: Water Bottle, Cleats and Gym Shoes, Money for concessions.

Didn't realize there were so many camps, good for the kids.

 

Yep yep. It's more more the rule for programs having them than it is the exception these days.

 

Most all programs have a kiddie camp.

Also Marvin Lewis camp is next week for kids.

 

That's good, the kids should be able to teach him a thing or two.

Belfry has always had one.. think they may even do a specific lineman camp as well

Belfry has a 2 day camp for 5-8th graders and a one day camp for 1-4th graders. Both camps are free and use Belfry coaches and players to run the camp.

 

There are a couple of other camps during the summer that I know of using prior players like David Jones to run the camp.

Simon Kenton will have their Youth Camp June 16, 17, 18, 19 1pm to 4 pm I believe it cost 60 dollars and 40 dollars if you sign up be June 1st.

Prices for these camps are what???

40-60 bucks usually. 3-4 days for a couple hrs.

 

40 bucks (gets all of them a T-Shirt...Pizza...Certificate and a Punt, Pass and Kick Trophy for the champ in each age group)

 

Three days long. 2 hours each.

 

Last day is the Punt, Pass and Kick competition and feeding frenzy.

Raceland's is $20 for two days I believe.

Actually it is a really good camp my son got to meet all the Bengal rookies but Denard. They gave food and drinks to parents and after camp was over all the kids got Chick-fil-A. Plus my son was playing a 7 on 7 game and caught a pass from AJ McCarron. Oh yeah this 3 day camp is free! Not many camps can beat that. Sorry I know its not a high school camp but it is for the kids.

Lincoln County head coach Travis Leffew is hosting a camp on June 20, 5:30-8:00 and June 21, 9:00-12:00. The cost is 25.00 and each camper gets a T-shirt.

They are promoting NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Luke Kuechly, (Cincy St. X) of the Carolina Panthers as an instructor along with some Bengals. This is a 2 day camp.

Wasn't simply a no-show. Had a contractural obligation that was a conflict. In all fairness, he apparently helped with other arrangements. The kids would rather see the Bengal players they know anyway. Most wouldn't know Kuechly. It is my understanding that Maualuga and Peko were there along with 2 or 3 other pros.

 

Heard from a parent that it was well done and the kids loved it. I saw plenty of great photos on FB that would back that up. Kudos to all involved for the success.

OSD ... fill us in on the Beechwood camp. I heard it was a huge turnout and an all star lineup of coaches including multiple Bengals helping out. Do you, or anyone else, have the details on the Beechwood camp?

Unfortunately, I do not have any additional information. I just knew some of the details from involvement with the school and talking with a couple parents who's kids attended.

 

Was told the same information you posted. Lot's of Bengals, Beechwood Varsity Players and coaches involved. Sounds like a great inaugural year for the camp and a new tradition.
