Later in the spring they beat Highlands and lost to Moeller in the same day. Again, Beat whoever in the Conner Classic and lost to BW.

Right again, CWB. The last time BW went back to back they beat Cov Cath and Dixie in the same day.

 

And a decent Bellevue team earlier that same day. All without Combs.

I think it's way more fun being the Monday morning quarterback seeing if what others come up on here plays out. I agree, isn't BGP mostly made up with parents trying to share their opinions. I definitely don't qualify as being a coach or even an umpire, but it is fun trying to put myself in their minds/shoes to see if what I would do they actually do. 99% of the time I'm wrong... :lol2:

Whats funny is it was all coming from the scrubs sitting on buckets. I heard things like "shes struggling", "give her a tampon to wipe her eyes", " she couldnt throw it in the ocean". Being into the game is one thing, when you stoop to personal stuff you have crossed the line. State needs to put a stop to this. Krumps was standing right there with a smirk. Kudos to BW for not allowing it. If you need to resort to personal attacks on a 16 year old, you have issues. I was standing right at the end of the CC bench. Had it been my kid, I would have yanked his butt out of their and had a come to Jesus meeting.

 

You must be a CCH parent if you were on the end of the dugout because you can't see anything from the far end. The near end was all parents and family I assume because it was all blue. Maybe it was your child!!

 

Also, would like to ask you a question. When CCH coach went to the mound in the 6th and 7th did you happen to hear "here comes the old man again" from the beechwood bench? Or did you hear the "ole" chant in the top of the 6th when beechwood scored 4?

These are two talented teams that don't really like each other and frankly, don't really respect each other either. And guess what. There's nothing wrong with that at all. It's fun to watch. I know when I played in this series, I loved it. Nothing better than playing and hopefully beating your rival.

We should also remember that sometimes there is a history between teams/players. So if a kid in a previous games makes a comment to the opposing bench there's a chance he is going to hear about it in a subsequent game. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being angels and 10 being devils I'd say this banter is about a 5.

That is a fact! Further proof the "kids" are more mature than the "older kids".

This has been discussed many times on here. There is a difference between baseball chatter and loud obnoxious behavior that shows no class. Some folks cannot tell the difference. Most spectators find it very annoying and it takes away the pleasure of watching the game for most. Good teams should be able to win without these tactics but it appears to be the better teams that usually deploy them.

C'mon Clyde...even you have to see these cross the line. I wasn't there but you were and you aren't denying they were said only asking why they 'crossed the line'?

 

How come the Crazies are held to very high standards and are considered entertaining, supportive but, above all, classy around the state. Why are the athletes themselves not held to the same standard at CCH? I was thrilled when I read on twitter that CCH came from behind and won but reading this puts a blemish on it. I am not saying don't try to get in the pitcher's head....if that is within the rules then do it but to use gender 'slurs' (for lack of a better word) crossed the line.

 

Please don't defend them anymore, it makes you look as immature as the boys.

 

The crazies are the best, the athletes are very good. CCH won the game. Deal with it. If you don't like watching CCH win all the time, don't come. Go watch some other games. CCH wins, Beechwood looses. Everything will be ok.

I draw the line at any personal attacks. Bench guys can yell out they want,. Good eye? Hes struggling a little? Thats 6 in a row? But give her a tampon? I lost what respect I had for Krumps for allowing it.

Splitting hairs trying to stick up for your guy. None of those are specifically directed at pitcher, more toward batter. Cmon, I assume you are a male. Calling you a girl as a teenager was fightin words. Ethan is a competitor and will figure it out, has to stop letting it get him. I will say, if the three or four kids doing all the yapping ever get a chance to hit off him, my advice would be dont dig in. Pretty gutless when you know there is no chance of that happening, so no recourse for acting like a 3 year old.

Completely whiffed on the point Colonel. First, I saw no bars of soap last night. Heard no chants to such. Second, those arent buddies with a little light hearted jabs. It was intentional and directed. Should not be allowed, and certainly not condoned by a coach that has been around as long as Krump. Have a lirtle class.
