May 21, 201412 yr They should probably thank Led Zeplin. Up until this thread I had never heard of the band Spirit and I though that Taurus was something made by Ford. If anything they should pay Led Zeplin for making their riff sound good.
May 22, 201412 yr I suppose that Stairway could've evolved from this, but without a doubt by comparison Page's work is more melodically complete and interesting, while Spirit's is just sorta lame at best. I agree with Irish Cat, They should probably thank LZ.
