May 8, 201412 yr I'm going to Eli's BBQ on Riverside in Cincy for lunch tomorrow and I've never been. Cash Only. I absolutely love BBQ. Anyone been? Recommendations?
May 8, 201412 yr Author I don't know if I'm going to go with their Pulled Pork or Smoked Turkey. Usually I'd always go the Pulled Pork, but I see that their Turkey is from the Tewes poultry farm, which I've worked on before slaughtering turkeys and good friends with one of the grandsons.
May 8, 201412 yr Get the Jalapeno cheese grits and the jalapeno corn bread as sides. Out of this world good.
May 8, 201412 yr I'd go with the pulled pork on the first visit. The only thing I've ever been disappointed in is the cole slaw. The sides mentioned above are very good. Be patient, it can take a while but it's worth it.
May 8, 201412 yr Good choice MJ. I agree with those that say to eat the pulled pork. Ribs are okay, but a little pricey IMO. I like the mac and cheese with a little of the barbeque sauce on them.

Had to re-read this a second time, because the first time I thought you meant the grandsons helped you slaughter some good friends along with the turkeys. :lol2:
May 8, 201412 yr I found this place about 4 months ago and have been a dozen times since. I have had everything on the menu and not disappointed with anything. Cheese Grits and baked beans some of the best I have had. It's bring your own drinks and they don't charge tax and no tipping. Simply great experience.
May 9, 201412 yr We were there a couple weeks ago on a really nice Saturday and it looked like a band pulled up as we were leaving. That seems like it would be a good time to take a cooler and some friends down for some music and BBQ.
