I'm hoping it doesn't but we'll see. The good news is that Monday is open as a makeup date before the semis on Tuesday and final on Wednesday.

Why did the tournament not keep the traditional game format (Thursday-Saturday)?

Last year ran into difficulties with rainouts on the first day and scheduling became really difficult so by spreading it out allows for makeup days.

 

In addition since parts of the JV and freshmen tournaments now run at the same time, freshmen teams are not able to bring down JV players.

Lloyd at St. Henry rained out.. scheduled to play at 5 on monday at Lloyd.

They will play Tuesday at 5 at Morscher.

 

Dixie/Ryle rained out. Rescheduled for Monday at 7 at Dixie.

1-0 is a great game at any level but at frosh that's not seen much. Congrats to both teams.

CCH now has to beat Highlands once more. Think they have gotten them at least 3 times. Tough to beat a good team like Highlands that many times.

Great pitching effort by Drew Rom for HHS. Unfortunate timing that HHS v. CCH at Morscher will be at the same time as the Varsity Senior Day / Fan Appreciation Day at Highland Park. Good luck to the Baby Birds!
