Eli Boggess from Woodford County to my knowledge is not being recruited by anyone for basketball. I love the kid. 100% winner. Clutch. Size and athleticism limit him but small schools would not be sorry having him on the roster.

I think Evan Hall is underated.

 

He has some talent but from what I've seen he has plateaued from earlier years. Does he play hard all the time? The KCC team seems to have hit a wall.

Right off, one kid that I'll throw out is Scott County's Tony Martini.

 

For the right smaller school, he's the kind of kid who can do some things to help you win, regardless of his measureables like height.

 

I love Martini but very few places he can play. Is he going to Ausbury?

Just got out of a final and don't have the list in front of me, so I could be mistaken on this, but I think that Asbury is a school that possibly could be in play. I could be wrong on that though. I've just finished two weeks of finals and my brain is mush right now.

 

I'm thinking Scott County assistant Tim Glenn played at Asbury too, so maybe there's a potential connection there (btw, Tim can still ball and has been a stand-up guy every time I've met him).

Dre Jackson Campbell County! I say watch out 10th region! I look for a monster senior year!

Grant Romes (Covington Catholic). Is a huge defensive threat, IMO best defender in the 9th region.

Not to beat the Hoop Dreams drum too hard, but Trey Moses is a player who has really come into his own lately. He has picked up his first division 1 offer this week and has had a ton of interest since we returned from Pittsburgh.

Hagen Tyler is the most underrated player in the state. Fact. Period. Point blank. End of story.

 

Ronnie Carson, Timmy Taylor and Jacob Conway are also incredibly underrated as well.

 

How are these guys underrated? We've been hearing about them for atleast 6 months now and many people on here have agreed that each of them are VERY nice players. Don't a couple, or all of them have some significant interest from D2/D1 colleges? Also, Hagen Tyler has a couple D1 offers, correct? Carson was a leading scorer in the state last year, if people are "overlooking" him, they just simply aren't watching.

 

Who cares what "on-lookers" or "fans" around the state THINK... if you have significant interest, or offers, you are NOT underrated/overlooked. Just my opinion.

Obviously a little bias here... But, COMPLETELY agree! He gets little to no love outside of the 10th region and NKY. Scores well from all 3 levels, has great athleticism, and is a team player.

 

Again, he'll have plenty of time to prove it.

They are all just now starting to get statewide recognition. I honestly think that all of them playing on the same Hoop Dreams teams is playing a part in that. Their coach is working hard to get them recognition and college interest.

 

For me the fact that all four of them were snubbed on the Junior All Star team is why I put them in the underrated category. I'd argue that Hagen Tyler is the best guard in the 2015 class and that is another reason why I have him in the underrated category. I can't think of a good reason to take another one ahead of him.

Tavin Lovan is one of the most underrated kids in the 2017 class... Ben Weyer and Eli Wright are underrated in the 2016 class...
