That we as a country are now more concerned with what Kim K. and Kanye wear, and what Donald Sterling says, than we are about the preservation of our Republic. It may very we'll be. Or it may be as deceptive as other administrations in the past sixty years or more.

Be sure to listen to the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5i4tuuy1jsw Trey Gowdy talks a great game and I hope that he is as determined to get to the bottom of what happened with the Benhazi disaster as he says that he is. However, the fact that John Boehner named him to head this committee does concern me because I have absolutely no reason to think that Boehner wants to get the bottom of any of the many scandals that remain unresolved that surround the Obama administration. This was an absolutely great lecture that Gowdy delivered to the media. I expect that the media may focus on the smiles on one or two of the folks standing behind him, who I assume will be some of Gowdy's fellow committee members. I hope that when Gowdy sees this video he takes the rest of the GOP committee members behind closed doors and explains to them that Bengazi is no laughing matter. Democrats will continue to insist that this investigation is a political witch hunt and there is no excuse for providing them with any ammunition to support that claim.

Probably because they actually believed this was about finding out the truth and getting justice for the victims during the first four investigations into the matter... but that ship has now sailed and Congressional Republicans are gearing up for a political fight with the White House and nothing else. We know what happened at Benghazi; we know how it happened; we know why it happened; we know who did it. This is now about whether or not the administration deflected attention for the attack's cause after it was already over for political cover. There isn't anything more to be found out about the actual events of that day and certainly nothing more that will be found out.
