Ledger Independent announced on their Facebook page that Mark Starns is going to Union County.. Glad he is getting back close to home. He did a good job at Flleming and am sure he will do good Union. Good Luck!!!!!!!!

Walked into a loaded cupboard at Fleming. Got the benefit of a fine transfer in Crisp and got the pieces to fit. Good luck at the next stop.

Why did not you tell us more. You must have a bunch of sour eggs. Coach Starns along with Coach Wells led Mason to a State Championship and runner-up and did not get the job at Mason because of circumstances out of his control. Also help lead Mason girls to region finals in his one year of helping. Did well at Henderson and led Fleming to back to back State tourney apperances with terrible draws both times. Yes, he has had good talent but it takes a leader to get them to gel and win. Sounds like a pretty good resume to me. Good Luck Coach Starns with the Braves next year.

That is the only way he goes anywhere..Every body in fleming co know this group of kids where going to the state tournament from 4th grade on
