Was head coach at Mid-Continent University then got in a contract dispute and wasn't renewed after the 12-13 season. He lives in Lone Oak and his daughter is a stud volleyball player. She has committed to UL

People also may not realize that Coach Starn's wife and step daughter still live in Henderson. It may have been more about family than coaching a particular team.

Wasn't the only job he applied for. I know for a fact that his name was in on several high school jobs in Kentucky. His biggest problem was a lack of a teaching certificate, which some, but not all, schools require.
