How many has Henderson won in the last 10-15 years?

 

I don't think they've won the region since the late-90s. I remember during the region tournament this year it was stated that Henderson County had lost something like nine straight regional finals. They're always knocking, but can't get in.

Like i said everybody expected that to happen from 4th grade on..Never won a game that he was not suppose to but lost a few he wasn't suppose to..never beat Mason co ,and should of won his first game in the state tournament last year did'nt know what he had just held those kids back never let them run and did not play to there strength

I think it shows you are from Fleming and if you recall Henderson was against a good Christian Co. team thath had a guard named Hickey. Also, I am pretty sure that when he was hired at Fleming he was heralded as a great coach, and welcomed him with open arms and is just what Fleming needed for these players. Yes, everyone knew these kids were good but Fleming only lost to 2 region teams in two years and their best player ACL and was never the same. I say alot of schools would take two regional championships in two years. I just hope your next Coach and win the state tournament cause sound like you will be happy with nothing less. Maybe Robbie Graham will come back to help you out.

So that means he was there for some of that , could not get it do there if he was such a great coach he should of got them over the hump..hat is where coaching comes in to play ???

I am remembered he had to make changes on his coaching staff and injuries to deal with. Sounds like the coach won overcoming many hurdles. Billy Hicks lost State tournament with the best players. Was that coaching? Best team does not always win and your did!!!

If he was so great why did he not get the Mason co job??

I was not in on the decision making but the people making the decision are all gone. Why did Robbie Graham not get the Fleming Co. job? Just sometimes it does not work out the way everyone thought it should.

Sounds like your dog has run so hard today it is out of breath. Only has 24 posts before today and 10 posts on Coach Starns. I am from Mason County where Coach Starns and I have no problem with him. If you done your home work then tell us who you talked to at Mason that said Starns was terrible. Maybe another parent or kid that did not get his way. Come on. All you have is your sour grape therories. Other people on here are pointing you out just not me.
