Los Angeles Clippers on the Forbes NBA Team Valuations List Paid 12 million in 1981 and now worth $575 million . Time for the old racist to take his profit and ride off into the sunset .

The one thing these owners actually fear (if anything at all) is the players fomenting dislike for them among the general public. A future team's owner could potentially think "If these guys took a stand here, what else might they take a stand on?" Heaven knows I've been screaming for years to bring these criminal owners under control and the fear of that actually happening could lead to players being blackballed for refusing to play.

Players are under contract and the old grump is stubborn and won't release them . If they don't play he won't pay and I wonder if he can fine them. Obviously that will not be popular but if we have learned anything about Sterling being popular doesn't matter to him. Taking a stand in some form seems needed I'm just trying to figure out logistics.

Given that they're unionized, I'm sure their contracts contain some sort of language about "unsuitable work environments" and things like that. If it gets to the point where Sterling won't pay them, I wonder if they're in a position to have contracts voided?

Even if we use Marge Schott as an example while she was old racist like Sterling a lot of her players actually liked her. Sterling is an old grumpy racist who's is basically despised by everyone including his own gf. Think about this he is so racist he has a problem with Magic Johnson being at the game with his wife. Magic freaking Johnson , what sain person dislikes Magic Johnson.
