I'd guess none if he is currently enrolled.

The usual eligibilty rules.

IMO...if a kid starts at a school on day one of that school year then that kid must finish that year at that school. Then if he/she wants to leave so be it. If, however, a kid leaves before the end of school then he/she should be ruled ineligible the following year...based on that kid transferring to another in state school. As I said...does this really surprise anyone?

So you are saying a kid should be punish, lets say mom or dad get a job in another state and have to move. Now as in our state here I am sure they have rules on transfers, IDK. But too many variables can come into play. I for one think this is basketball motivated and that is not right in my opinion but it is what it is. I am not sure Rae and Billy got along or maybe Rae just didn't like listening to Billy. Maybe he thought he should have been the star. The one thing that irked me was when Rae would foul or an official would call anything it always seemed like Rae acted a fool and didn't like the call. Which I think a lot of kids do that today and I wish that refs would T their butts up right then. I know it is tough to replace a 7 footer but the team he has coming is small and will need to find some size or play fast. Wish the kid best of luck but move on without him.

Who did he live with while in Scott Co? His parents?

His family stayed in Charlotte. I will say the people that criticized him for his play were dead wrong. The kid has some skills. He's just a sophomore and he plays in a system catered to guards. He was a difference maker when he was in the game even though he was never a first, second or third option. He could be scary if he gets with a coach who makes him more of the offense. That's in no way criticizing it is just the way Scott Co plays...guard orientated.

I'll say this, you could be absolutely right, and I didn't see the kid play a lot. But I did see him in the state title game, at 7 feet tall, shoot a lay up on a put back attempt and hit nothing but the backboard. Looks like he's got a ways to go....

So if his parents decided to stay in Charlotte, what was the purpose of him coming here for a year?

Fixed that for you.

Billy Hicks says he knows nothing about him transferring.

And it looks like he's still in school at Scott County?

Looks like CP3 from what I can tell. Pretty sure is going or recently went with them to Cali.

The maturation of Raekwon Long of CP3 has been impressive. The 7' is rebounding strong & finishing in the lane

I feel pretty confident that he won't be playing for Scott County next season but we'll see how it plays out. That's just my gut feeling.

He is playing with CP3 this year and transferring to Carmel Christian.

Confirmed?

Confirmed?

He is moving back to NC, but he isn't officially enrolled at Carmel yet. He is definitely playing with CP3 though.
