Still doesn't mean when I was criticizing him he wasn't stinking up the joint. Never said he wasn't, although most of your criticism was/is unfounded. Haven't seen you criticize anyone else for the same things Votto is criticized for. Hell, you criticized him for drawing a BB with 0 out and a runner on 2nd, then disappeared when the next two batters failed to put the ball in play. That's just crazy.

April 16, 201412 yr I know, but my point is that even though he blocked it, he had the ball to block it once he got to the plate. That's the only thing that I can see that they'd have made the call stand.

I haven't seen the play live but it's safe to assume the ball beat the runner sliding, which is why he was called out, right?

April 17, 201412 yr Did this series put a little bit more of a positive jolt in anyone? I think we'll all have a better view of the possible after these next 10 games. While it will still be early, by everyone's definition, a 10 game roadie after starting 6-9 should show us a glimpse of what the next 5 months will look like. Plus, with 13 of the next 15 at home, after these 10 road games, the 40 game mark that everyone talks about should be a pretty accurate snapshot for them.
