Tell us how you really feel. :lol2:

As someone who had to go with his wife to FIVE weddings last summer, I'm cautiously optimistic that all our friends and family decide to take another lap with the single life this summer!

Yeah, because nothing is worse than an open bar & a dance floor.

I'm thinking we might split. I'm much closer to my Goddaughter; I was in the delivery room when she was born, and she was a flower girl at my wedding.

What my 5 kids do, we will just have to wait and see.

If it's a "Catholic" wedding, they'll probably like you more if you show up without your 5 kids. Just sayin'...

I've been in enough weddings that it wouldn't bother me,

if I'm never asked to be in another one. I don't mind to show

up and drink the free beverages but when I have to be there

hours early and rent a tux etc. I'm not to happy.

I once told a cousin at Thanksgiving dinner I would be in her

wedding. Time goes on and got Metallica tickets for Columbus

turns out they were the same day, but my dad told me I had

to do the right thing and be in the wedding. My now wife and

her cousin went to the concert while I was stuck at a non-alcohol

wedding reception.

As the guy who has been in 18 weddings I consider myself somewhat of an expert. Proper protocol states that if the bride and groom choose not to serve alcohol then all groomsmen obligations are hereby null and void.
The weddings are in June 2015. Is it ok to ask one of them to switch days? :lol2:

Geez, they send those Save the Dates out early.

Actually, it was not an official mailing. I was on an email chain related to one of the weddings. June is the most popular month to get married.

It's guilt or regret. Pick your poison. :lol2:

I will feel guilty if I don't attend one of the weddings.

I will regret if I don't attend the other wedding.

Maybe someone will get cold feet? :sarcastic:

I don't think I can help you much here as my criteria are probably quite different than yours:

H+(B+F)/A

H being the number of single hotties in attendance, added to a quotient consisting of bar(B) and food(F) quality measured against the number of awful people you'll have to talk to(A).

I'm one hundred percent sure that didn't help you, but that's what I'd use. It's a very rudimentary version of the formula, but I won't bring out the calculus necessary to calculate the effects of open bar on dancing and meeting women on the first day of the semester.

That's awesome!

Another factor is how big is the extended family? In other words, how likely are you to be related to most of the girls?

(Not that it matters in Kentucky. :lol2:)

This is an excellent formula/strategy.

Whichever one sent you a Save the Date first is the one you should go to.
