What "looks" like a marquee game is often not one in reality when it is actually played. The NFL could not give CBS marquee games if they wanted to.
October 3, 201411 yr And there have been at least a dozen non Thursday blowout games in the previous 4 weeks. The more games you see, the more likely you will catch a blowout. While there hasn't been a decent Thursday game yet, there have been plenty of bad games in the NFL this year that haven't been played on Thursday.

Avg win on Mondays is 12.2. Thursdays is 29. That doesn't really mean much other than in the NFL there is no guarantee that a game that looks like a good match-up will turn out to be one. Maybe Bengals / Browns turns out to be 21-20, maybe it turns out to be 35-7. There is no way to know.
