NCC's Tanner Moeves Commits to Thomas More

Featured Replies

Congrats to Tanner continuing his hoops dream at TMC. It looks like TMC is loading up on the NKY talent.

BTW, "daddy's little girl" is happy he's staying close. :lol2:

What about "little girl's daddy"??? Was he hoping for an offer to Hawaii or somewhere else far away?

It helps that he's a stud academically as well. Congrats to Tanner.

How many 9th region kids will be on the roster next season?

I heard Austin Hensley was also considering the Saints?

A little surprised to see Tanner end up at TMC.

He had D2 offers and D1 interest.

Knowing how much hard work he put in this past summer, happy to see him continue his playing career. He comes from a great family and is a good kid both on and off the court.

What offers? I knew he wanted to stay close to home.

TMC is probably closer to home than NCC! :thumb:

Congrats to Tanner and the Moeves Family. Tanner has worked very hard on his game the last couple of years. I wish nothing but the best of luck to Tanner.

Hard to confirm actual offers as a lot of what goes on in the recruiting process are rumors.

Have heard he visited Findlay and Ohio Dominican and someone reported an offer from Christian Brothers. All of those are D2.

Always thought he could play at the D2 level but like most players needed the right system, right opportunity.

Gets a chance to play close to home.

Who?

Christian Brothers University

Who?

Offer...not offers.

Christian Brothers offered.

Not sure how involved they were throughout the season but Spring Hill (AL) and Findlay (OH) , both Division 2 programs, showed interest prior to the season as well as Elon University (D1).

Thought Spring Hill was an NAIA program? Did they move to NCAA D2?

You're right. NAIA

They didn't offer, but he had a day long visit at Kentucky Wesleyan a month or so ago.

Any way you look at it, he gets to continue playing the game at the next level.
