Solid effort by the Birds, but the Dawgs with too much "fire-power".

Just win and get to the next one. Good job Dawgs!

So you have in the 9th semis------NCC vs. CCH and Holmes vs. ?????. Be worth going to, that's for sure.

Never mind I see it----Dixie.

The Bulldogs looked very solid. They are going to be a hard team to send home. Bolden took a hard spill but shook it off to close out the Birds.

Tonight was the first time I saw Highlands play this year. I really enjoyed watching Buten. Very solid point guard. He consistently beat the Holmes press. A fun guy to watch.

Solid effort by the Birds tonight. Hats off to the seniors! Buten, Houliston, Hergott, Brockett, Greene and Shepherd. Good luck to all of you!

Birds are going to continue to progress under Coach L...he does a great job with them. Love their defensive intensity.

Parker Harris had a really good game for the Birds tonight, including a dunk in transition.

The thing that stood out the most for me was the misses by the Dawgs from point blank range, although they were getting some of those back in on 2nd, 3rd, & 4th chances. Chames and Hill exploited the much smaller Birds on the offensive glass. They both do a great job attacking the glass.

Buten did a great job of breaking the press.

This Highlands bunch is MUCH improved from the start of the season. :thumb:

How great is Coach Ken Shields? What a class act, his wife and him were in the Jack Nicholson seats tonight at BOK. People just gravitate to the man, he is so kind and gracious to everyone. Many people would of not handled, 50 plus visitors coming to say hello. He took multiple pictures with many fans this evening, even got one with the legendary Dicky Beal.

I have sent my son to his camps for the last 8 years, not to learn about basketball, but to learn about life. You will not find a better man.

Game photos, enjoy!

Funny, that dunk came about 4 seconds after Chames dunk. Crowd went wild.
