By no means am I a good "x and o" guy but does UK even have an offense----against man or zone? It seems like they run no sets. Against zone they fiddle around for 25 seconds and then try to get something done the last 10, often "throwing up" (pun intended) a prayer as time expires. Doing the dribble-drive into three defenders does not constitute an offense to me. In economics they talk about inefficiencies. UK has lot of them....not the least of which is lack of motivation. It has been a very frustrating year.

The Twins and James Young try to drive it into defenders to often, get some contact, and expect the call. Officials aren't going to reward you for that type of play.

My question is... is it, or isn't it a foul? You drive in and they stop you with contact. Should be a foul, no? Especially with the new rules/emphasis this year.

I think they've finally turned the corner. :lol2:

I wouldn't want to play this team in March.

Wait a minute...

Yeah, I'm not going to argue either way on whether it should be called or not. But if they aren't calling it in a game and continually not calling it in conference play, at what point to you realize that and adjust?

It was a foul in November, sometimes a foul in Dec and Jan, and never a foul in Feb and March. This is why officials suck. The ruined the game for 6 weeks on the promise that it would eventually make the game more enjoyable. Once teams started to adjust they went back to officiating the same way they have for 15 years.

68% FT Shooter, kinda middle of the pack

I guess 70% is kinda the magical number for me.

You better watch what you wish for. Grant is a good coach and Babma is lucky to have him. Babma is a hard place to recruit.

This is the worst season Bama has had since C.M. Newton's '69-'70 team, that was C.M.'s 2nd season. This is Grant's 5th.

He seems like a great guy and I wish him the best. He will be a great assistant coach.

Recruiting hasn't been the problem. Plenty of talent on that roster...

That's not counting the guys that he brought in and left the team (Lacey, Pollard, Mitchell)
