Someone had already posted 14th Region Draw

Breathitt, Estill, Powell, and Wolfe couldn't have hoped for a better draw. The big games are in the 1st rounds and the championship game, semifinals not so much.

Will be interesting to see who survives their first round games.

Wow. Not the draw I bet any of them wanted.

I'm thinking Cordia and Knott County Central in the final.

I'm with PP92...KCC/Cordia final. KCC represents the 14th at Rupp.

I don't think Breathitt, Estill, Powell or Wolfe can beat any of those teams so it really doesn't matter. I'd be absolutely stunned if another team was in the championship game besides KCC, PCC, Cordia or Hazard.

Agree, but at least two of those teams get to say they made it to the regional semi's. :lol2:

With some schools at least making it to the semifinals is a big deal. Unless they've changed the gate payout method in recent years, since I was involved with our high school, the further a team advances into the tournament determines how much money your school will receive with gate receipts. Losing in the first round means less money for the school's athletic budget. And the gate at Perry Central this year should be BIG. Their gym seats 4,000 (some willl say 4,500 but I think that figure is a little high) and Combs Arena should be packed on just about every session. If they do split sessions it will be even bigger revenue, but as for myself I hate split sessions. Perry is big enough not to have to do that, as is Knott Central. I'm not sure they're doing split sessions, though. I hope not. It's very inconvenient

Coach Rhodes is firing some pretty heavy shots on Facebook. Should be interesting.

Speaking of that, are the Perry County and Letcher County jobs open?
