I should add that Bolden made some clutch plays late. He didn't force too much. Played well.

 

Overall Holmes D was much better than the first time these two played.

Any idea how many blocked shots Holmes had tonight? They were swatting shots left and right.

 

No clue if Chames' block was legal or goaltending. I'd love to see a video replay.

 

CCH losing Schult and Bo to fouls late 4th qtr really hurt . Give credit to Bolden for getting into them and forcing the foul call. They didn't like the calls but they were correct.

 

We even had a little bit of jawing between Coach L and Coach Ruthsatz after the non-goaltending call. Not sure what that was about.

 

Enjoyed hanging with LB13 and Denny. Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet FarBeyondDriven. Saw him across the way though so there's that.

 

They said on CCH radio that Holmes had 5 blocks.

Let me reiterate how much I like having Grant Romes on the team. How many players do you know go from guarding Bolden to guarding Chames? Great rebounder. Strong defender inside and outside. Such a nice resource for Scott to use.

 

One criticism is he has really struggled finishing at the rim. Once he gets that fixed... He will have a great final season. Mark it down.

Thanks for the stats. I believe CCH shot an absurd % in the first game and Holmes reciprocated tonight. You won't lose many games when you shoot 60%+ from the field. NCC gets the short end of the stick since CCH and Holmes have to be in opposite brackets.
