Awesome! Thanks Clyde.

With Boone off today will the game be played? Have not heard that is still on. The policy in the past at Boone is that no evening activities happen when a snow day is called. This could be an exception? Have heard that if the Boone/NDA game is cancelled tonight it will be played tomorrow night at Holmes.

Thanks Clyde, that is why you are the man!

Games are on for the 9th region tonight

Boone County Schools ‏@Boone_County 44m No decision yet on all other evening activities. The BCHS v. Notre Dame game going on was made by the @KHSAA.

This from Boone County twitter site. I found it odd that the KHSAA made the call and not the school.

I'm glad the games are on.

That is not the policy. I asked someone who is there and they said games are always separate decisions than school.

Don't look past the difference in floor size at Bank Arena. It will make it difficult to press. Maybe the best half court teams might have an edge.

Also a longer distance for bigs to truck up and down when teams run. And you have to be able to shoot regardless, to take advantage of floor size in the half court or else the floor remains the same size if teams can pack it in on you. You are correct, more space for trapping teams to defend. But on the other hand, more space to defend athletes that can run and take you off the dribble.

At the end of the day, big is still big, little is still little, fast is still fast, atheltic is still athletic and shooters either make shots or they don't. It will be interesting to see if coaches try to use the floor size to their advantage and how they accomplish that.

HHS better not look past St.Henry. I know earlier in they year the beat them pretty good but the Cru Have everybody back and they Have a pretty good big.

They do have a nice big. HHS will not be looking past anyone this time of the year. Noone can look past anyone in this tournament. If you do, you may be looking from the stands. Favorites, past games and point spreads go out the door in these games.

Exactly...which is why it's called "March Madness"!!! The team that will make it to Sweet 16 won't be the team that wants to "win" the most but rather the team that refuses to lose!!! I'd say this 2014 9th Region group of teams is the most evenly talented group we've seen in years!!! Not 1 team stands out as a hands down sure winner which makes it even more interesting to watch!!! Which coach has developed his team throughout the season & now has them peaking when it counts the most...tourney time?!?

I don't, if it was left up to BCBOE they wouldn't play tonight, finally the KHSAA made a good call on something.

No way the KHSAA can overrule the school system. Boone had to OK this.

Don't try to interpret the politics of the call. Boone probably needed a little cover from all critics had they made the call.

Will tonight's game be on radio or Internet?
