Scott Co. @ Henry Clay

Just like sweet16 said, last year people may have seen this as a state championship game (before the region swap)

No doubt.....Scott County at Henry Clay. Henry Clay (ranked as high as second early in the year) versus Scott County (once the number 1 team in Kentucky) and to think that one of them will be out of the state playoffs after the first round of the district. Doesn't sound fair or right.......does it?

No it doesn't. That's why I think everybody in all 64 districts should seed for their tournaments. That way the great teams advance and the Sweet 16 is that much sweeter with the best teams in the state going at it instead of a small cinderella who had a couple good shooting nights going to Rupp and getting thumped by 40. IMO

I agree that it should be mandatory to seed districts, but in a few of the Lexington and Louisville districts, including Scott County's, whether it is seed or draw a state ranked team is going to miss out on the regional tournament.

Pendleton County vs. Harrison County without a doubt!

 

With Harrison playing as good as they are right now, this is going to be a good one. I will still take my Cats but it will be close.

State-wide I'd say Scott County-Henry Clay.

 

In my neck of the woods its Perry Central-Hazard.

I'd say you are right about this one in the west part of the state. That's what they get for getting away from the seeding and going back to the draw. It serves them right.

This is from the 45th district,Danville (14-10)vs Lincoln Co.(15-11) should make for a interested matchup.

I agree and what a shame for what now? 3 years in a row with PCC/Hazard. Professor, Powell/Estill could be a barn burner in Beattyville. Say that fast three times.

This has the making to be a great game, but lets make sure that Rose Hill will show up. Someone needs to check the schedule and make sure that the Royals will not have played 3 consecutives days leading into the day of districts.

That district did seed this year and Bryan Station got the #1 seed. Scott Co. was #2 and Henry Clay #3.
