cammando Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) If ObamaCare is so great I wonder why Dirty Harry and his state are exempt.. Obamacare Victims Are ?Liars? Says Top Democrat - Yahoo Finance Edited March 2, 2014 by True blue (and gold)
cammando Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 So are we liars or not ?? Opinions?
Hellbird Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I'm not a liar and I have lost about $6 k a year because of the Steph, actions in Obamacare and what my co pay now has to do.
bballfamily Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 When I made reference to the Dems as being liars all heck broke out, but silence when one of those dedicated to the big lie speaks out. I did clarify later that I believed there were the JFK Dems and the supporters of the big lie.
Bluegrasscard Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Fellow travelers are not going to admit that 'sacrifices of individuals' are always required for the cause.
Bluegrasscard Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 The repeated claims of a conspiracy to buy America in his by Reid are interesting. Is Harry Reid now a paranoid tin-foil conspiracy nut? [video=youtube;mSJOLivL-NU]
mcpapa Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I'm not a liar and I have lost about $6 k a year because of the Steph, actions in Obamacare and what my co pay now has to do. No change for me. Kentucky retired employees Humana.
Milfordflash Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 No change for me. Kentucky retired employees Humana. Aren't you one of the lucky ones. Most everyone I know now has worse coverage or higher premiums.
cammando Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 The "lucky" ones will still be paying for ObamaCare in the form of higher taxes and costs...
Hellbird Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I will put this quite simple. 2 years ago my son dislocated his shoulder, insurance covered everything. This past football season he dislocated the same shoulder, insurance sending us $375 bill because they are not covering everything. Same insurance, same doctor same rehab facility, just not covering as much as they used to.

We had 3 different insurance coverages and still had a few thousand to pay. We had two coverages when he had a second surgery two years later and again had to pay some. I have never had coverage that fully paid for any surgery I or my kids have had...or for any other non-surgical procedure.

I have never had coverage that fully paid for any surgery I or my kids have had...or for any other non-surgical procedure. We were lucky, none required surgery but just physical therapy. The insurance was very good. Great I would say. But now it looks like what once was fully covered is now only partially covered. Not making for a happy person in me. The schools insurance should pay for it though since it occured in a football game, so the wife will be calling the school Monday. This of course is not including the co-pay which we always paid. swamprat Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Mrs. S went to her primary care the other day. The fellow checking-in proceeding her handed the office clerk his insurance card. Mrs. S didn't see who the insurer was. The clerk looked at the card and checked her computer. She then asked,"Is this insurer part of the AHCA?" The man responded, "Yes." She said, "I'm sorry, we don't accept that insurance." The fellow shook his head, chuckled, and said, "I didn't think you would. Nobody has taken it, yet. Here's my credit card. I'll be a self pay."
Jumper_Dad Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 No change for me. Kentucky retired employees Humana. My wife has state Humana insurance as well and her deductible went up and her prescription coverage went down. Her Scrips alone are running $100 more than they were in December. Also a medicine that she has been on for over two years is now being denied by Humana. Yours maybe different since you are already retired and she is still working, but hers between deductible change and prescription coverage is costing us around $1700 more this year. That is not counting the cost of the policy which itself went up $150 per month
