March 2, 201412 yr For anyone with 'good' company provided insurance it is important to remember - your world has only been minimally impacted by AHCA so far. Paying for children until they are 26, some expanded coverage like birth control. But the company plans were allowed to remain grandfathered until after the 2014 elections. The delay was not a legal action. This law was designed to phase in originally. The arbitrary changing of dates has delayed the impact to the majority.

March 3, 201412 yr Must have been some great insurance. My son broke his hip 10 years ago. We had 3 different insurance coverages and still had a few thousand to pay. We had two coverages when he had a second surgery two years later and again had to pay some. I have never had coverage that fully paid for any surgery I or my kids have had...or for any other non-surgical procedure. The plan I had up until Jan 1st of this year covered 100% of everything. I dropped it for a less expensive plan with a deductible and out of pocket. Saved me almost $100 every 2 weeks.
